What does democrat mean?

We think about democracy all the time. In fact, how much we understand democracy does not even cross my mind. I also have doubts about whether democracy is understood by many big political leaders.
What is democracy? Maybe this is what many are asking. If we speak in the language of sociology then democracy means people.
Democracy:
The term democracy means "the rule of the people", a system of government in a state or an organization where every citizen has an equal vote or right to formulate policies or elect representatives. Although the term democracy is generally applied to a political state, it also applies to other organizations, such as universities, trade unions, state-owned enterprises, and so on. And the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, has said that democracy is "the people, by the people, for the people."
But we will not go that way. In fact, we will talk a little about those people who take to the streets as a democracy.
Everyone must accept why democracy has been established. Democracy has been established for the welfare of the people, for development, for equal rights, for unity, for standing up against evil, for fighting against corruption, bribery, nepotism, for national unity, for stopping violence. Yes, we are developing, we have equal rights, we have protested against bribery and corruption.We think about democracy all the time.
