Bananas:

- Bananas contain melatonin and serotonin, chemicals known to help the body sleep. In addition, this food also contains magnesium and tryptophan. In the evening, drink a banana before going to bed and you'll sleep like a rose.

- Some people swear by 2% acetaminophen, others also take 2% magnesium. From experience, when I lie awake often, that acetaminophen does help me.

- Valerian and St John's Wort and 5-htp. (Melatonin is more for falling asleep, the one I use to sleep through). 5-HTP stands for 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-hydroxytryptophan) and is an amino acid that is converted to serotonin, which ultimately results in melatonin. 5-HTP is produced by processing tryptophan, an amino acid that does not occur naturally in our body.

- What might also help is a weighted blanket. https://y.is/eoTPS https://y.is/GZ4ws

Nice tips
@Inspired I've tried half a banana myself for a few days and I like it.
a banana really wouldn't have occurred to me. I try the toilet first, can I really not get to sleep afterwards, I sit in the room very ff and have a biscuit. After that, I'll fall asleep again.
@marijke that's how it used to be with me. Now with times more suffering from. I also tried banana for the first time yesterday. Slept well last night, but 1x doesn't mean much of course.
