A conductor is someone who leads and guides an orchestra or group of singers to perform a piece at their discretion. Conductors work in theatre or plays, film or TV scores, leadorcast and choirs that are amateurs or pros. The conductor ensures that the piece of music is interpreted correctly by acting as a guide to the musicians or singers. He chooses and studies the music score, adapts certain adjustments and conveys his ideas to performers so that when the music is played, there is unity and harmony. He plans the rehearsals, plans the orchestra's repertoire, and takes care of other things related to the group he leads.

What is a Conductor?

Education and experience is what makes a good conductor, or whatever, anyone who wants to achieve a goal. Conductors often have degrees in music, can play an instrument or play multiple instruments, be able to read, have a good ear, a broad knowledge of music history, styles and functions of different musical instruments, have taken postgraduate courses with an emphasis on the lead and experience leading ensembles, whether they are amateurs or pros. A good conductor is someone who is comfortable in leading a group, a great motivator and communicator, has a strong presence on stage, is well organized, flexible, especially in his schedule and loves to travel. He is able to bond with the musicians and uses hand gestures or signals that the musicians understand clearly.

Why would you be a conductor?

Although this field is extremely competitive, it is becoming a conductor, especially for renowned orchestras, both lucrative, satisfying and a position that is highly respected.
