What is the value of all access to CBS?
After all, what is the value of CBS All Access? As a standalone streaming service, I personally wouldn't say it's not. The only way I can subscribe is if I can legally discover Star Trek: Nowhere Else I Can.
My biggest problem is that the commercial free plan is misnamed and does not protect you from ads. It's impossible to avoid live broadcast ads, and I totally appreciate that. So why call it commercial free? Second, not all episodes and all seasons of TV shows are not available at any given time. If you're binging with Bull or watching NCIS LA re-runs you're going to miss some episodes and some miss you. This is forgivable in a channel-dedicated service like this.
If you are a fan of CBS programming and can ignore all the CBS access errors, you can get a lot out of it. In that case, you don't have to pay $ 9.99 a month for a ton of new stuff.
More about TV shows than CBS All Access movies like Hulu and Netflix There are usually 15 to 20 movies available at any given time but you won't be surprised to see the choice.
