What is Decopatch?
Decopatch is decorating with thin (napkin) paper. It's actually called decoupage, so it used to be called, originated from french. You could also call it sticking napkins. A few years ago it was very popular to paste on roof tiles and decorate them to put near the front door. Do you remember that??
The pieces of paper (or pieces of fabric) are torn or cut into pieces, and glued to an object. That happens with a special Decopatch glue lacquer . It is then a kind of patch (patch=lapje). A new layer of glue is applied to each piece of paper. So you get a very nice βpatchesβ effect with something depth. Decopatchen can be found on various substrates such as wood, glass, MDF, plastic, styrofoam (styrofoam), metal, etc. Even candles can decorate you with the napkin technique!

I first painted the wooden panel white with an ordinary acrylic paint, so that the color of the napkins is more beautiful and fresher. I bought the wooden letters like this and painted white.
It's made for my girl across the street (I keep her name anonymous, hihi) and the oval nameplate is now hanging in her bedroom, she loves it totally. Look, that's what you're doing for, huh??
On Yoors are already a little lot:) many articles written about decopatch/decoupage. For Easter, Christmas, Summer, Winter, Christmas, Christmas, Children's Party, For Just, Mother's Day, etc! We had some taped with napkin paper here! Will you look with me?
