What is Deep State?

Introduction
A deep state is a form of government that consists of possibly covert and unauthorized systems of authority that operate freely of a country's elected leadership in pursuit of their own agendas and purposes. The phrase has predominantly negative implications in common usage.

The emergence of the Deep State in the World
The term "Deep State" has entered our vernacular. The term comes from contemporary Turkey, where it refers to a hidden cabal, mainly made up of members of the security services and/or army, that tries to control official politics and political events for their own gain. The country's founder, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was a founding committee member of Union and Progress (CUP), the political group that dominated the empire's last decade. While the CUP pretended to be an open party devoted to parliamentary governance and the rule of law, its membership operated a covert control structure throughout the nation.

The CUP depended on its covert forces to preserve control and remove perceived challenges to the government as the empire approached the latter stages of its demise. The Armenian genocide, which was carried out in part with the help of paramilitaries, was one of the most notorious atrocities linked with this hidden structure of power.

In the last year or so, researchers opposing US international affairs, particularly military actions driven by entities in and around the state that may have been dubbed the "military-industrial complex," have introduced the metaphor into Us debate. Nonetheless, it has become a target of Donald Trump's wrath because opposing it helps him promote the cronyism and corruption that he believes will put trump in office.

The idea that elements of the national security apparatus are trying to run a secret conspiracy to subvert the genuine will of the People of the united states by trying to keep us involved in "unending wars" resounds with some people on both ends of the political aisle, whether the event being described is the Vietnam War, the Iraq invasion, or the 9/11 threats. The political establishment explains Dick Cheney's information manipulations on Saddam Hussein's WMDs, as well as why Barack Obama intensified drone usage in the fight on terrorism: Both men were entangled in the same network of hidden power that gave birth to Indochina and the USA’s dirty conflicts.
