What is happiness?
What is right and what is wrong? What is happiness and what is misfortune?Things that have been shooting me in the head the last few days.
Take, for example, the message from a mother of 4 who went to Syria with those 4 children to join ISIS. There is above”what does she do to her children?”Her attitude does not fit mine because I do not believe IS is doing well, but she thinks so.Is she, by definition, wrong? She is going to fight forin her eyesthe good cause and thus takes her children. Of course she does this.
A gentleman - I thought from Friesland - has done the same, almost then, he also left but toagainst ISto fight. I think he's doing a good job because I think that IS needs to be combated, but apparently this is not allowed either. Because he was arrested back in the Netherlands. I don't remember what happened to him after that, but according to our legislation, this is wrong.Join IS is not allowed, fighting against IS may not be IS then good? No, by our standards IS is not good. But only as a soldier can you fight against IS apparently. Then it is not punishable. I understand the logic behind it, but I'm not comfortable. Can you look at such things objectively? Or can that only be done afterwards? The other day I got such a question from the kids. I could only answer that the end of a war often determined who was right and who was wrong.
What is happiness and what is misfortune? Also one of those. Right now see a lot of people around me who are unhappy for any reason. And I think you choose happiness- Yes. Partly, but for a large part. Can you always be happy? Not when you think of happiness about that violent explosion that you can sometimes feel. You'll be in there all the time, and you'll be crazy.
