2 - Phuc Kien Assembly Hall

Legend has it that this place was originally a small shrine worshiping the statue of Thien Hau Thanh Mau, the goddess who helped merchants to overcome the ocean waves, which was picked up on the coast of Hoi An in 1697. Phuc Kien has the largest and deepest space among the assembly halls in Hoi An city centre, with the traditional design of Vietnamese temples, added with Chinese features. This place is located right in the middle of the coastal river mouth, about 3km east of Hoi An city centre, with an entrance fee of 30,000 VND / person ($1.26).
