What is pyrography?
Pyrography is an art form. The word pyro-graphy comes from Greek, pyro means fire, and graphy means writing. The art of painting/writing by burning. With a hot pen (a kind of soldering iron) you can work wood, leather, cork or other materials. You burn drawings in it by heating the material. Another word is also fire painting or wood burning.
With a wood fire device you can make drawings on, for example, wood. Those fires come in different kinds. The simplest is just the electric fire pen. Because the tip gets very hot, you can decorate wood with it by βpaintingβ with the tip. The hotter it gets, the darker the wood colors.
Everyone can start with wood burning, it's a nice hobby for young (not too young) and old. You can create nice drawings and images on all kinds of fun objects, such as wooden spoons, coasters, name plates, wooden boxes, cutting boards, mirror frames, chests of drawers, etc.

This is a very fine wood burning device, from the brand Pebaro. It can be on all day long, without the handle getting hot or anything happening to it. I know that from my own experiences! There are 9 different dots (tips) so you can apply all kinds of nice decorations on your wooden object. With handy holder and fine handle.
Highly recommended, I personally think!
