The curly girl method, is a hair care method developed for natural curly hair. The curly girl method, also called the cg method, was conceived by Lorraine Massey. She wrote the book: curly girl the handbook. You care and maintain your curls in a certain way so you get (again) shiny and defined curls. In principle, the basic method is applicable to any hair type, but of course you can't assume that the curly girl method suddenly gives you a whole bunch of curls.
