When Coca Cola was first launched on the market, it was an anti-fatigue medicine. That's what Coca leaves are for. People chew at a high altitude and then have the energy to bow down to it.
I think it was discovered by the Incas or even earlier other tribes. A smart person has seen this as the pro for the western world. Coca Cola does not reveal its ingredients. Coca C-Cola therefore tastes like Cocca leaves with added sugar or sweetener.
An enormous amount of coca leaves is also used to make Cococaine. But Kouwen on coca leaves is a lot of innocent people. So it does have its great advantages.

caramel is the closest in my taste experience and then cinnamon, a touch. I don't taste grapes in them at all.
