What is Valentine Day for you?
We all know that Valentine's Day is commemorated in honor of that famous priest who secretly married people many years ago and that most people think it is a romantic day so alcunal cultures inculcated it so, but there are also cases to consider that it is more than all a day taken as a commercial day.

Today I went out to the mall and with more than 15 days to go I find stores flooded with balloon bears and hearts everywhere at super high prices and I don't know despite my young age I have come to a personal conclusion that tells me that there should not be a valentine's day since the day of love should be every day of the year.
love is not expressed through a balloon or a heart or even a stuffed animal, at least for me it is not.
Love is expressed in the day to day in the company in those moments of sadness or illness, or maybe the support during an exam is in the daily routine a breakfast or maybe a very strong hug in that moment when you feel alone.
already in March is bear or balloon is useless if when you need that person is not by your side.
I have heard couples fight because if you forget the gift I get mad at you, even couples who ask others what you want me to buy you to show you that I love you.
There is also the competition where if my gift is bigger than yours it is me who loves you more and no, this is not the way I consider appropriate to show love.
that's why i come back and ask:
what is valentine's day for you?

We live in a society that forges a relationship around a lucrative end, Valentine's Day is February 14 for us, or so they have not been made to believe, I wonder it will be that on other days this feeling is resting or absent, how nice it would be to live that feeling every day of the year intensely
So, to answer your question, according to me these days have nothing to do with love, romance or care. It is just a social obligation and a status symbol.
The whole history behind the fact about Saint Valentine is once again a bad thing that the Catholic Church has managed to make of it. It's not nearly as rose scent and moonshine what that Roman priest experienced, and no love was alone for a long time. But with certainty, all this cannot be traced, because the facts are based on legends.
