Time is a fascinating topic, and we can learn so much about it. I've created this post to give you a framework to think about time and where we fit in this world, and what we can do to work with time rather than be defeated by it. It's also designed to help you improve your site conversion rate.
Most people probably use Google to check what time is it?. You want to know what time it is because you think processes move fast, and you want to make sure that you're ready with your stuff when needed. This is what actually needs time in our society.
Hence time is also the acknowledged enemy of every business. Hence, the universal quest for time management. Numerous time management theories have been advocated through decades, but very few companies have made an honest attempt to optimize their internal processes.
Measurement of time
• The calendar was an ancient method of measuring time. A calendar is a method of ordering days for social, religious, commercial reasons. This is accomplished by assigning names to periods, commonly days, weeks, months, and years. Within such a system, a date is the designation of a single, unique day. A calendar is also a physical record (typically made of paper) of such times and events. The ancient system of measuring time was the calendar.
• A clock is an instrument that measures time. Clocks can be stationary, as in a clock tower, or portable, for personal use. They are generally equipped with a mechanism that periodically causes a loud and distinct (audible) sound such as a gong, bell, chime, or buzzer to call attention to the time. The clock is usually powered by a drive mechanism – either electric, internal combustion, or gravity – which regularly moves an index about the dial via mechanical force.
• The first known practical clocks were invented in ancient China, where they were used primarily for astrological reasons. The Chinese clock was an early form of the water clock. It consisted of water that dripped at a very steady rate into another vessel placed below it. The water in the upper vessel had to be replaced frequently to maintain its level; this complicated the movement and weighting of the mechanical components.
Importance of time in our daily life
Time is an essential resource in the world. Time is very precious, and it is precious, which can't be bought by anyone. Time never comes back. The only thing we can't buy and that you can't get back in time. You can earn and save money and then spend that money later, but you can never earn or save time and then spend it later.
The most valuable asset we have in our life is time – once gone, it's gone forever – we all know this – we all feel this – yet how many of us take the time to live as if we genuinely believe it?
We use our time as if we had an unlimited supply of it – as if we could always borrow some from tomorrow if we didn't have enough today. But here's the thing: there will come a day when those minutes and hours and days and years will no longer be available to us and, just like that, poof! They're gone forever.
