What time is it pst (Pacific Standard time)

Pacific Standard Time ( Pacific Standard Time, abbreviated PST ) or Pacific Time ( Pacific Time, abbreviated PT ) is a time zone that is mainly used in the West Coast of the United States (except Alaska ), with a time difference of UTC-8 during the standard time or UTC- 7 during Summer Time.

During Daylight Saving Time, the time zone is called Pacific Daylight Time ( Pacific Daylight Time, abbreviatedPDT ).




Pacific time is calculated based on the average solar time at 120° West longitude.

Pacific Standard Time is one hour ahead of Alaska Standard Time, one hour later than Mountain Standard Time, and 3 hours slower than Eastern Standard Time.

In Mexico, this time zone is called the Zona Noroeste (Northwest Zone).

Based on the time when daylight saving time is not applied,
1) South Korea time to Pacific Standard Time
After changing AM/PM from Korean time in a backward direction, subtract 5 hours to get Pacific Standard Time.
(Example: November 11th, 10 am Korean time → November 10th, 10 pm Pacific Time - 5 hours[A] = November 10 at 5 pm Pacific Time)
2) Pacific Standard Time as Korea time
After changing AM/PM in the direction of time flow from Pacific Standard Time, and adding 5 hours, it becomes Korea time.[5]
(Example: February 2nd, 10:00 AM Pacific Time → February 2nd, 10:00 PM Korean time + 5 hours[A] = 3 am on February 3, Korea time).
