What to watch after Killing Eve

Killing eve is a show that has made a mark mostly because it is unlike anything that has come before. The show is full of spy drama, psychopathy, and beguiling sexual attraction between the two lead roles played by women, Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer. Oh is an MI5 agent whose job is to capture Villanele (Jodie Comer). Villanele is a psychopath and an assassin but who won’t find it hard to fall in love with her during the show. Both Oh and Comer develop mutual admiration for each other and end up falling in love. If you have not seen this you should and if you have and miss the series then here are some that you might find entertaining after watching Killing eve.

Orphan Black
This is an original BBC American conspiracy that was a hit and had mostly women in lead roles. It is a Canadian science fiction series directed by John Fawcett and has Tatiana Maslany in the lead role. The story is about a girl, Sarah Manning who watches a girl die who looked exactly like her. Later she finds out that she is one of the many genetically identical human clones and one of them died in front of her. The story is great but Maslany’s acting has made it better with her taking on different roles as clones and enacting them perfectly. The show is quite intriguing and is packed with twists you won’t expect till the very end. It is an awesome show to watch after Killing eve.

The Americans
This show is again a great one to watch. The lead roles are played by Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell. The show is a cold war spy drama and is about Soviet spies living in the US as undercover agents and is parents as well. The chemistry between the two is spellbinding and it will keep you hooked by the way they manage their undercover tasks and being parents to their kids. This one is a must-watch if you like a bit of drama, romance, and wild chases.

The tourist
The tourist is about a man (Jamie Dornan) who is chased off the road by a strange tank truck. He wakes up in a hospital and has no clue where he was. He decides to find answers which lead him into tales he never thought he would find out.  This is a thrilling series produced by Two Brothers Pictures who incidentally is also an executive producer on Killing Eve. The series starts out a bit slow but builds up into a thrilling story that you will enjoy for sure.

Thirteen
It is a psychological drama that runs around a woman named Ivy Moxam who was held in the prison for 13 years but manages to escape until the police find out that she is hiding major secrets. Even though the story is not new but it has been directed differently which makes it worth a watch. Jodi Comer (Ivy) is in the lead role and has done a great job which will remind you a lot of Killing Eve while you watch her in action. You will enjoy the show if you liked Killing Eve for sure.
