What to watch on National Geographic

While we talk about what to watch from different OTT platforms how can we forget, the National Geographic channel? It is a television network and flagship owned by National Geographic Partners that joined hands with The Walt Disney Company and the National Geographic Society. It has some of the best TV shows, and documentaries of anything and everything under the sun. If you can’t find anything to watch on other platforms you will surely find something that would interest you and your family on National Geographic for sure. Here are a few series you can start with.

Cosmos
This is a space odyssey with astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. He takes you through the journey of the infinite cosmos through the series and explains some of the celestial events unimaginable to us humans. The 13-part series takes you through Big Bang, black holes, gravity, dark matter, time, and much more to keep you hooked to it. Neil presents these concepts brilliantly with both skepticism and wonder which makes it an enticing show. It is a perfect show for people interested in how the universe runs.

Brain Games
Have you ever wondered how a human’s brain works? We all have heard that our brain is quite complex but the show Brain Games offers an excellent explanation of how it actually works. You will meet experts in cognitive science, neuroscience, and psychology performing mind-boggling experiments to show how the brain governs our body. You will enjoy the optical illusions, memory faults, and subconscious errors in the episodes and will end up wanting more.

Hostile Planet
This is a wonderful series narrated by none other than Bear Grylls himself. It is a set of short series that shows how creatures on Earth adapt to the life of living on Earth. The show shows cute wildlife to the fiercest beings living on Earth and their journey to survive. If you enjoy nature and are intrigued by the creatures sharing our planet with us then you will enjoy Hostile Planet for sure.

How dogs got their shapes
A dog lover tends to look for shows that have anything to do with dogs, and if you are one of them then the show ‘How dogs got their shapes’ will interest you. This is a special documentary loaded with adorable pups that will make you go awww. The show is not all about cute dogs though, it is about the fascinating world of dogs, their breeds, and how they become man’s best friends. You will get to learn a lot about dogs and care for them and will go to bed with a warm heart after watching it.

In to the Canyon
The Grand Canyon is a natural wonder and we find people trying to figure out how it was formed and will it change in the future, etc. The movie Into the Canyon answers them quite precisely. It is about two science journalists who cover the entire 750-mile gorge by food and learn what no man has ever learned about The Canyon.  This is an eye-opener that you should watch with your kids for sure.
