This Spanish series of 5 seasons took Netflix by storm with an IMDb rating of 8.2/10. It is the story of biggest heist featuring some amazing characters. The one character who gained attention of people worldwide, the professor is a genius mind no one can even imagine. This great series has been created by Alex Pina.

Total seasons:

The series consist of total 5 seasons. The first one was released in 20 December 2017 consisting of 22 episodes. The second season was released in April 2018. The third season aired on Netflix in 2019 consisting of 8 episodes. Then comes the season which took everyone in its awe. The 4 th season released in 2020 amid the COVID pandemic. The 5 th season which is the final part consists of 2 parts. The first one has been released in September 2021 and the second one in December 2021.

Storyline:

Season 1 and 2

The series films two highly prepared heists in the supervision of the genius mind El Professor. The first heist involved Royal mint of Spain. The first season opens with professor saving Tokyo’s life, an important and most loved character of the series. Professor creates his own team of great and brave eight robbers and names them on the basis of any city they pick. Tokyo, Moscow, Berlin, Nairobi, Rio, Denver, Helsinki, and Oslo all dressed up in iconic red jumpsuits and masks, reflecting Salvador Dali, the robbers entered the Royal mint with hostages inside. The great professor supervises the heist from outside and planned the whole heist considering each and every situation possible. However, the identity of professor remained closed the entire time. The heist had its ups and downs yet it was successful but ends with the death which took everyone in the emotions, the death of berlin. The season 2 ends with professor falling in love with the police officer Raquel. All of them reunites in Philippines.

Seasons 3, 4, and 5

Season 3 starts with every robber enjoying their lives until Rio get caught by police. The professor picks up his friend’s old plan of assaulting bank of Spain. The gang gets bigger by the addition of Palermo, Bogotá, and Marseille. This heist consisted of a lot of ups and downs and the plan going in falling direction yet the professor manages to handle every situation. It also involves the death of peoples’ favorite characters Tokyo and Nairobi. They face a heart-wrenching death leaving everyone in tears. The season had another twist of police officer Seirra, finding professor and ultimately knocked him out. However, she also gets into the team when professor helps her in the delivery of her child. This heist was also successful yet consisted of a lot of twists. The identity of professor also gets disclosed in front of public.
