You will see these kids solve weird cases like Santa’s missing reindeer, runaway dinosaurs, and much more. The best part of the show is that it teaches about teamwork, communication, dedication, and friendship. Another great thing about the show is that it shows how kids solve these mysteries by using math. Mortified

Mortified is a great show to watch with an 11-year-old. It is about a cute girl who is 11 and lives with her family. Her family is a little weird as they are free-spirited people which is a little odd and terrifying for the girl. She tries to cope with the situation in the best way possible. The show also emphasizes on relationship between friends and being yourself. You will see a great friendship between Taylor (Marny Kerry) and her BFF Hector (Nicholas Dunn). The life of an 11-year-old is confusing and when it comes to boys it gets worse. Hector likes Taylor, but like any other 11-year-old girl, Taylor is clueless about it and likes Leon (Luke Erceg). All of the misunderstandings between the kids will keep you and your child hooked to the show.

Anne with an E

This is an amazing show that is filled with emotions. It is about an orphan, Anne (Amybeth McNulty) who has lived a not-so-pleasant life in various orphanages and homes. She has endured a lot of pain at the age of 13 and is sent to live with aging siblings, Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert by mistake. She is again not wanted there as the two were expecting a boy but her smart talks, her unique ways, and her sweet nature transform Marilla and Matthew and soon she becomes the star of the small town. Your child will enjoy the free-spirited and independent Anne who is always ready to help others even though does not get appreciated in return. This is an adorable show and a must-watch with your 11-year-old.

Mr. Young

This is a Canadian series which is created by Dan Signer. The show is about Adam Young (Brendan Meyer) who is a genius and graduates from the university at the age of 14. After his achievement, he decided to become a teacher in a high school to experience the fun-filled high school life. He meets his childhood friend Derby (Gig Morton). His life is not easy being a teacher as the kids don’t respect him and he gets into a lot of trouble with the principal for his childish behavior. The show is made for a younger audience but you will enjoy watching your child laugh at silly situations Adam faces.

Fresh Prince of Bel-air

If you like Will Smith, you must know about this funny series. You might find some of the jokes a little sexist at times but Mr. Smith can get by anything with his charm. The show is about a street-wise teenage boy who comes to live with his rich relatives in Bel-Air. The show is funny mostly because of smart jokes cracked by Will Smith but other than that your child might learn that money cannot buy happiness after all.

Stranger Things

If you like to watch sci-fi then you will enjoy watching this excellent show with your 11-year-old. The show is full of mystery a bit of horror and little love. It revolves around a group of kids who try to find their lost friend but end up fighting an evil monster instead. These kids witness supernatural forces and unravel secret government plans on their journey. The show will keep you and your kid on the edge of the seat but if you are an anxious parent stay away and let your kid enjoy it.
