What to watch on Netflix if you liked 13 Reasons Why

I watched 13 reasons Why, didn’t like it in the beginning but it grew on me, and now I am waiting for the next season. Since then I have been looking to watch something that would keep me entertained. Something with a mix of drama, mystery, and fun. Here are a few I liked and hope you would like them too.

Pretty little liars
This is about four friends who are devastated after their friend disappears. They receive messages that the friend may still be alive and go down the rabbit hole to find out what happened. This is a binge-watchable show and the seven seasons will keep you busy for a long time. It has great drama, juicy storylines, and mystery to solve very much like 13 Reasons Why. You will see a lot of scheming, betrayal, and twisted plots as you go from one season to other, so have it on your watch list for sure.

Euphoria
You can watch Euphoria after 13 Reasons Why as it is based on the same issues. It is about a troubled and suicidal teen struggling with a drug problem and is trying to get through high school. She meets Jules who is a trans woman who is trying to sort out her own problems. The show will remind you of the dark side of high school and what teens have to go through during that phase of life.

One Tree Hill

The show is about the sibling rivalry between two brothers, Lucan and Nathan Scott played by Chad Michael Murray and James Lafferty. It is full of drama, romance, and thrills. You will find yourself wanting for more after each episode and not missing 13 Reasons Why for a while.

Gossip girl
It is derived from a popular book series and made on TV in 2007 and ended in 2012. The story is about an elite and rich group of high schoolers that live on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. They have loads of money but an anonymous “Gossip Girl” tries to open their closets full of skeletons. The show has six seasons and you will finally meet this person but till then it will keep you hooked.

The society
When almost everyone in town mysteriously vanishes from their wealthy town, the teens that are left behind must make sense of the situation and re-build a society, without adults. The Society has no parental guidance and the similarity between it and 13 Reasons Why is because that show focuses on the teen cast more than the older cast and they have to dig their way out of a bad situation to save their lives.
