Clerks (1994)

Famously shot for under $30,000 in the real-life video store where director Kevin Smith worked at the time, the no-budget comedy Clerks helped kick off a new wave of American independent movies in the early 1990s, breaking the traditional barriers of Hollywood entertainment to become a massive, unlikely box office hit. Pau Gasol: It’s About the Journey (2021)

One of the most popular and talented basketball players of the last twenty years, Pau Gasol was a legend on the Los Angeles Lakers during its Kobe Bryant-led dynasty in the 2000s. This documentary follows the Spanish star as he concludes his two-decade career in the NBA after a stress fracture forced him to retire from the Milwaukee Bucks, showing him returning home to his native Spain to play once again in Barcelona.
