What to watch Netflix series

OTT has been around for many years but has recently gained popularity especially after the spread of Covid 19. I have watched almost everything that is on Netflix and have tons of series saved on my list.

Today I want to share 5 excellent series that you can watch on Netflix.

1. The cook of Castamar
This is a very romantic series based on the novel by Fernando J. Munez. This is a Spanish drama and is set in 1720 Madrid. The story revolves around a girl who is a gifted cook and knows exactly how to prepare exceptional dishes. She is hired in a castle of a widowed duke who is engaged to be married to some other princess. In the series, he falls in love with the cook and both of them defy all the rules to be together. The series is full of drama, hate, crime, sacrifice, and a load of romance.

2. Outlander

Another excellent romantic series on Netflix is the Outlander. The series is about a nurse in World War II and somehow travels back in time to Scotland in 1743. There she meets a dashing Highland warrior. The series is very interesting and full of love, drama, sex, comedy, action, and a lot more.

3. Ozark

Now, this is a must-watch series on Netflix if you like to watch crime and passion at the same time. The series is about a simple family and getting entangled with the money laundering drug mafia. The series is full of shocking deaths, sweeping dialogue, dark humor, and weird twists that will keep you up all night.

4. Good girls

This is again a very good series that shows how three long-time friends try to make the ends meet by planning a small robbery in a grocery store but end up stealing a hefty amount from a mafia. These women try to solve the mess they have gotten into and end up getting deep into it. The series is full of witty comedy, action, confusion, and romance. The series will show you how three simple moms become mafia and survive.  It will keep you hooked to the screen until you reach the end.

5. Stranger things

This is one of my favorites. It is about a boy who vanishes and how a group of his friends tries to find him with his mother and end up discovering lots of sci-fi mysteries around them. It is an amazing show that has some violence but it’s a good series that you can watch with young teens or even tweens. It has nothing a kid of this generation can’t handle. My 12-year-old daughter loved it and so did I.
