What to watch this weekend on TV

The weekend is around the corner and so is the increasing number of Covid cases. This is the time when you need to stay put to stay safe. Don’t worry we won’t let you get bored over the weekend if you plan to stay inside. You can check out the movies listed below and enjoy.

Outer Range on Amazon Prime
This is a Western with a new feel. It is a story about Wyoming rancher Royal Abbot (Josh Brolin) whose family is dealing with the disappearance of his daughter-in-law and one of their neighbors claiming a part of Abbott’s land. The things go crazy when they find a mysterious swirling black hole in their pasture and do not know where it came from or what will happen if someone goes inside it. Soon they have a hippie (Imogen Poots) visit them who develops a connection with the hoe. Well enough of the twists, watch it and get some answers yourself.

Roar on Apple TV+
This is based on a book of short stories by Cecelia Ahern. It has an impressive caste-like Nicole Kidman, Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Wever, Kara Hayward, and many more. The episodes of the show are a mix of several genres starting from satire to psychological horror as well as magic. It explores the lives of ordinary women who are in extraordinary situations. Some of them might scare you but you will enjoy them for sure.

Anatomy of Scandal on Netflix
This is an American anthology drama created by David E. Kelly and Melissa James Gibson and is based on a novel by Sarah Vaughan. The show has a great plotline with relevant topics. It has some excellent twists and great drama. I do not wish to kill the suspense it holds but can tell you that the show shows how a self-serving husband tries to live with his wife by using his charm and gets what he deserves in the end.

Search Party on HBO Max
If you have not yet seen Search party then this is a great time to binge-watch it as the fifth and final season is here. Alia Shawkat (Dory Sief) is almost 20 and gets involved in the mysterious disappearance of a college acquaintance. This show will suck your weekend and you won’t even know it.
