What to watch when you don't know what to watch

There are so many different platforms you can choose from if you want to watch something good but like it is said, too many choices may confuse you. Watching a good movie can be a great way to unwind after a tiring day but if you don’t know what to watch then it might be frustrating as well. There are tons of movies that are worth watching at it is impossible to name them all in one article but here are a few that you can start with. These movies come with mixed emotions so this list has one for every mood. Enjoy.

Sinkhole
This is an excellent disaster comedy that runs around a common man and his family who buy a house after working hard for 11 years. Before they could enjoy the house and celebrate it a heavy overnight downpour creates a sinkhole and swallows the house with people in it. The movie will keep you hooked to the screen as you watch the residents of the building find a solution to get out of the sinkhole. You will get to see people working in a team, friendship bonds, and sacrifices made during a disaster to keep each other alive.

Supernova
This is again a good movie that takes you down a rollercoaster of emotions. It is about two longtime friends’ one gay and the other is a novelist who takes a final trip together to see their family and friends as one loses the other too early onset of dementia. The movie is about love, friendship, and sacrifices and makes you fall in love with the whole shazaam.

Someone Great
This is a romantic comedy about a woman who fights to restart her life after a breakup. Jenny (Gina Rodriguez) is the main character in the movie but Erin (DeWanda Wise) will keep you hooked to the screen for sure. She portrays the LGBT community very well. The movie is about love, heartbreak, friendship, and encouragement to move on. It will motivate you to be yourself even after you have fallen hard in a relationship.

Parasite
The movie Parasite was the talk of the town during the lockdown. People heard about it and waited for it to be released on different platforms. This is a must-watch movie that won four Oscars in 2020 for Best Picture, Best Director, Best original screenplay, and Best International feature film. It is directed by Bong Joon who very wisely shows class discrimination through this dark comedy. It is about a family man, Kim who struggles to provide for their family until his son Ki-woo finds an unexpected opportunity. He takes up a job as an English tutor to teach Da-hye, the daughter of a wealthy Park family. Soon the whole family joins as helpers to the Park family but has a parasite that threatens to give them away. It is an artistic film that has an excellent storyline with great cinematography. It will keep you engaged and will help you relate to the message of class segregation in society.

The Cabin in the Woods
The movie is about five attractive young people, including Chris Hemsworth (got your attention now) who plan to take a vacation in the woods. They unknowingly get stuck with a family of zombies who follow the ritual of human sacrifice to please subterranean deities. The movie has all the features a good horror movie should have. You will get to watch a lot of gore and might make you laugh but scream at the very next instant.
