It depends a lot on the situation, but I will ask if it goes, and possibly if I can do something for that person.
Just giving someone a hug you won't see me doing, because I wouldn't be able to appreciate a stranger myself 😊
I will definitely ask him/her how can I help... It happened to me when I was 4 years old... my family and me went to Brazil for vacations and I got lost on the streets. A started to cry and a lady saw me alone there, she hold me and helped me to find my parents (luckily she was a good person, she could have sold me right?)
That would be an uncomfortable situation for me if we are sitting around the corner I think I would ask him but if I walk in the street I won't stop and ask
I don't know what happened I had chosen to walk away but another option was made, in this case I prefer to follow my path unless it is a child who is in trouble
there are many reasons for this to happen to people and we need to be very tactful to approach and ask him what is going on and if we can give him a little help in the moment.
Are multiple answers that apply because the first and second I find very appropriate and the 3rd will appreciate one and the other may not. Last two I would never use if I have to be honest.
