Neil Alden Armstrong was an American astronomer and aeronautical engineer who was born on August 5, 1930. He was the first human to walk on the Moon. When did Neil Armstrong die?
The astronaut died on August 25, 2012, at the age of 82, in Cincinnati, Ohio. The reason underlying his death was clogged arties after the cardiac bypass surgery. Armstrong was buried at sea due to his service as a navy pilot. He was born on August 25, 1930, in Wapakoneta, Ohio. He was fascinated with flying since he was a youngster, after taking an aircraft trip at the age of six, and he eventually acquired his private pilot's license. He piloted jets in the Korean War in 1950 and was even shot down once. Following this, he worked as a commercial pilot before entering into NASA in 1962. On July 20, 1969, Armstrong becomes first person to set foot on the moon. He led Apollo 11 into orbit alongside Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin and control module pilot Michael Collins. Buzz Aldrin was the second person to step walked on the moon after Neil Armstrong.

What Armstrong did after he left Nasa?
Armstrong decided to step down from NASA in 1971, 2 years after his phenomenal Apollo 11 mission, which had made him one of the city's most renowned men. As he stepped onto the surface of the moon, he expressed one of the most memorable phrases in history: "that's one small step for man, one giant leap for humankind." He was, nevertheless, a hesitant Inspirational figure. He avoided the spotlight because he felt he was simply doing his job. Armstrong then settled down as an Ohio lecturer of aeronautical engineering in Cincinnati and resided on a farmland.  He was also a "director for multiple firms," according to the New York Times.
He earned a reputation for himself in academics after leaving NASA. Between 1971 until 1979, he was lecturer of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. He was the chairman of Computational Power for Aviation, Inc. in Charlottesville, Virginia, from 1982 until 1992. He did, however, continue to be involved in groups that investigated space and aerospace.

How Neil Armstrong died?  
Neil Armstrong died as a result of cardiac surgery, but he appeared to be healing at the time. His family disclosed in his biography that he died as a result of consequences from a cardiovascular operation. In the Atlantic Ocean, Neil Armstrong was buried. In following years, several news pieces have commented on the astronaut's need for seclusion. He was a national superstar who did not act like one, giving few interviews and avoiding the spotlight. "He feels bad that he earned all the accolades for an initiative of tens of thousands of people," his first wife Janet stated in his biography.
When Barack Obama scrapped the proposal to send humans back to the moon in favor of private firms, he expressed his dissatisfaction openly. According to The New York Times, Armstrong told the US House of Representatives that NASA "must find means of restoring optimism and belief to a disoriented and despondent work force." Such forays into divisive public matters, on the other hand, were rare for him.
