Each ticket will cost you $2, and you can get a multiplier for an extra dollar. Ticket sales close between 10 pm and 10:45 pm on drawing nights and tickets sold cannot be cancelled or exchanged.

How to Play Mega Millions

Ideally, you play the Mega Millions when buying the ticket. There are two ways to do this;
Pick 5 numbers from 1-70, and one number from 1-25.
Let the computer generate the numbers for you at the checkout point.
To win the jackpot, you need 5 matching numbers from 1-70 and one number from the 1-25 category. This means you have six matching numbers in total. The jackpot amount is not set, and it depends on how much it has grown since the last time somebody won.

Other ways to win the Mega Millions include;

•    5 + 0 = $1 million
•    4 + 1 = $10,000
•    4 + 0 = $500
•    3 + 1 = $200
•    3 + 0 = $10
•    2 + 1+ $10
•    1 + 1 = $4
•    0 + 1 = $2

Megaplier

The megaplier is a number that lets you as the player multiply your winnings by two, three, four, or even five times. It only costs an extra dollar, but the consequences could be huge if you win. For example, if you win $1 million and the megaplier number is 5, your prize money will be $5 million. Unfortunately, the megaplier is announced on the draw night, so it’s not possible to know what it is until then.

Play Options

Selecting different numbers every time you buy tickets or letting the computer choose for you is not always ideal. This is why you are given several options to make your work easier;

If you have favorite numbers you would like to play with several times, choose a Multi-Draw ticket. This means the same numbers will play different draws up to 26 times, but you still have to pay for all the draws. Alternatively, you can have the same numbers printed on different tickets.

Have a special date in mind? You can buy a future draw date. Mark the Optional Plays Box on your payslip and let your clerk know which future date you choose.
