Storyline

Barry Allen is a forensic scientist at Central City police with a sensibly happy life, regardless of the childhood trauma of a shadowy red and yellow person killing his mother and accusing his father.

However, everything changes when Barry gets struck by lightning from a massive particle accelerator explosion in his lab. Regaining consciousness after nine months of coma, Barry and his new friends at STAR labs discover that he can run at superhuman speed.

Additionally, Barry learns that he is not the only one affected by the explosion, and most people are taking advantage of their newfound powers for evil. As The Flash, Barry decides and dedicates his life to making a difference in fighting the evil threats to maintain peace in Central City and the world.
Even though his journey includes allies he never expected, he also faces secret forces that want to control him for their selfish agenda.

Is There Another Episode For The Flash?

Good news! The fans of The Flash can go ahead and enjoy the series as season 8 will officially continue to air. This announcement came about a month before season 7 started showing on the big screens on February 3, 2021.
When Will Season 8 Come Out?

Better news! The much-awaited season 8 release date is just a stone's throw away.

Season 8 of The Flash will first show on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. This will be a segment of a unique five-episode edge event with the Arrowverse.
Similar to previous seasons, there are18-23 episodes to enjoy and they will be airing from October 2021 to May 2022 on The CW.

What's The Cast of Season 8?

Most importantly, the whole cast of The Flash will return in season 8. Therefore, Barry will return, alongside Iris, his wife. Also, Caitlin/ Killer Frost and Joe, Iris's dad, will also be showing in the season.
However, Cisco Ramon, who has been around since the show's beginning, will not be around for this season. Most fans will feel disappointed by this heart-breaking news.

According to a recent interview at the Entertainment Weekly, Ramon said, "I'm the child of an immigrant, so my whole ethos is "earn your place or card" and I think that's what I did for a long time. I just put my head down and I made it work. And a lot of joy and satisfaction and career rewards and momentum have come from that. And I'm so appreciative of that, but at the end of the day, mental health is important...me to step away from the show, it's a way of me taking care of myself."

Sadly, Harrison Wells will not also return for the eighth season of The Flash. In his Instagram, he posted, "It has been a joy creating and playing the myriad Wells that makeup 'Wells st' on #theFlash . At times brusque, sunny, capricious, and perpetually shameless, they will always be linked by a single unbreakable thread of gratitude. My thanks to everyone on all sides of the screen that makes up this wee superhero show of ours."

With these changes in the main cast, who knows what's in store for the fans? Let's wait and see what unfolds!
