I don't really share anything about my personal life and use social media only to share blogs or I share a message from a company or boyfriend/girlfriend with an important announcement about work.
I am (mostly) aware of the possible consequences, so I only share what should be known. For example, I'll share vacation photos when I get back.

Sometimes I say this or that to my hubby, but that's a general thing, not something that's really personal. With our you-knows-hangover, I'm a little less difficult, but even there, in the background, I make sure there's nothing like seeing that online. I now know plenty of stories where the consequences were unforeseeable after people shared too much online.
