When was the train invented

Richard Trevithick developed the first train in 1804. He was a mining engineer and inventor from the United Kingdom. The first train used a steam engine with a huge flywheel to balance the piston rod motion. Let us closely understand the history of trains and when was the train invented?

History of Trains
Wagonways were utilised in earlier civilizations before railways were invented to transport goods and passengers. Horses or bulls use to drag wagon-ways. Inventors desired automated trains to transport commodities, despite the fact that wagonways were swift and safe. In 1698, Thomas Savery created the steam engine. However, due to its limited power, it could not be utilised to power trains. It took until 1763 for James Watt to build a crankshaft that could transform steam power into circular motion. Watt's discovery paved the way for the development of steam locomotives. After that, an English inventor named Mathew Murray became the first to design a steam-powered locomotive. Richard Trevithick afterwards presented the trains series.

The Development of Trains
Trains have developed in a variety of ways throughout the years and will continue to do so as technology advances.
•    Emerging Steam Locomotives, 1812-1848: After Richard Trevithick's Penydarren locomotive improvements in the early part of the nineteenth century, the steam-powered locomotive progressively gained prominence. Many innovative locomotives were developed by George Stephenson, often recognized as the "Father of Railways." He eventually went on to construct the first railway line between Liverpool and Manchester.
•    1879, Electrifying Railways: Werner Siemens establishes Siemens, an engineer working. In 1879, Werner von Siemens exhibited the first electrical commuter train. Following that, in 1881, Siemens built the world’s largest first electrical tram route. In the following decade, there was an increase in the desire to limit pollution, which, together with advances in alternating current, aided the growth of electric trains.
•    Dieselization: From 1892 until 1945, after the introduction of the diesel engine, study was conducted to determine how diesel might benefit railways. It was discovered at the beginning of the twentieth century that the diesel generator was more effective and had a higher power-to-weight proportion. After 1945, diesel engines rendered steam locomotives obsolete in developed nations.
•    Diesel-Electric Railways, 1945-Present: After the diesel engine dominated the steam-powered rail network, entrepreneurs began developing more effective rail propulsion technologies. Experiments revealed that of all technologies - hydraulic, mechanical, and electric - diesel-electric became the industry norm. Furthermore, diesel-electric vehicles emerged in the second part of the twentieth century.

The Benefits of Rail Transportation
The following are the primary benefits of railroads over other modes of transportation:
•    Railways are extremely dependable in adverse weather circumstances such as fog, rain, and snow.
•    Railways have well-organized plans and schedules to prevent inconvenience when travelling.
•    When compared to other modes of transportation other than aircraft, trains have a high speed. As a result, it is best suited for high-traffic areas.
•    Heavy commodities may be carried at a lower cost and in less time than by roadway.
•    Railways are a more affordable means of transportation, and hence everyone, from the middle class to the underprivileged, can afford to travel by train. Trains, as the cheapest means of transportation, are widely used by India's lower economic groups on a regular basis.
•    Railways are better than other modes of transportation in concerns of outages and incidents.
•    Railways have a vast and adaptable carrying capacity that varies depending on the need.
•    Railways provide both skilled and experienced; the basic career possibilities and employ a large number of people.
