White Heron

#waterfowl In a previous post I showed you the ducks of the lagoon in the garden.
Today our beloved black paw or cairina moichata has a beautiful family of ducklings of all colors.
So cute.🥰
The amazing thing is to see how they feel protected and don't leave their side.
We also have wonderful white herons which are very common in the state of Florida here in the United States.
This heron known as Andrea Alba, measures from beak to tail between 80 and 105 cm, when expanding its wings it can measure up to 130 and 170 cm. Its weight is about 700 and 1,500 g.
These birds have adapted to the changing climate of the city and have multiplied in the garden living with the Ducks and Chipmunks.

In the bay we have a little heron is always there if it flies back it is called linda. 😋
