Easter is a time for us to dedicate ourselves to learning about the love of Christ. Our Lord and Savior showed the greatest act of love in suffering and death on the cross in order to redeem all mankind. I believe we bear fruit of this precious gift by learning how we can become what we are in Him.

Have you seen who you are in Christ? This is one of the most difficult challenges any Christian will face as he grows in faith. Our interests, work and lifestyle are all aspects of who we are; however, I have learned that our essence of truth lies in the reward we receive for eagerly seeking Him.

Jesus told his disciples: “If anyone wants to come after me, let him disown himself and pick up his torture stake day after day and follow me. keep it ”(Luke 9: 23-24). When I was saved, my love for me made me want to please God for the rest of my life. As the revelations grew, it became more and more difficult. I later realized that even though I had good intentions, I still tried to stick to many things.

Believe it or not, “getting yourself” involves trusting in the Lord enough to let go of everything you see as yourself. We find our true self-centeredness in Christ as we surrender and allow the Lord to direct our course. His story about us is written - He tells us in Jeremiah 1: 5 that He knew us before He formed us in the womb. Your story may have current content, different characters and exciting information; but amazingly, the Lord's way, though not always smooth, will ultimately lead to the true fulfillment of your desires.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. And ye shall call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And you will actually seek me and find me, for you will search for me with all your heart. '”- Jeremiah 29: 11-13.

If you are not clear about who you are in Christ or how the Word of God applies to you, use this Passover time to get into the Word; meditate and spend some good time with the Lord, and He will reveal it to you.
