María Carolina Josefina Pacanins Niño (born January 8, 1939), better known as Carolina Herrera, is a Venezuelan fashion designer. He is a marquise consort of Torre Casa for her marriage to Reinaldo Herrera — until the revocation of the title to it in 1992 —, who founded his own house in 1981 in the United States..
At the age of 42 she decided to venture into the world of international fashion and4 she ended up becoming an internationally renowned fashion designer.7 Her first show was held in 1981.
So much was her success that in 1982 she was already dressed Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia, the Duchess of Feria, Countess Consuelo Crespi, Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, Ivana Trump, Kathleen Turner and Nancy Reagan.

With natural style and elegance, Carolina Herrera is one of the most successful designers in America and the world. As a creator, she has managed to interpret perfectly the tastes and needs of a woman who loves luxury and elegance, taking her away from excesses, and becoming repeatedly named as the lady of elegance and sophistication.
