Who remembers them: The Traveling Wilburys
Big names picked up by George Harrison and Jeff Lynne. The band consisted of Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison and Tom Petty.
'Handle with Care' was the debut single by the Traveling Wilburys and was released on October 17, 1988.
The five members of the Traveling Wilburys found each other in a penchant for skiffle and rockabilly, forerunners of the 1950s of rock music. The style is nostalgic with influences from country music. The five individual members explicitly brought their own style and music history.
A revival is not in there. The only survivors are 79-year-old Bob Dylan and 73-year-old Jeff Lynne. Roy Orbison died in 1988, George Harrison in 2001 and Tom Petty in 2017.
Trump can't use Tom Petty's “I won't back down “for his own glory. Quite logical because that song aims to do something quite different than what Trump stands for.
