Who's the mole?

#widm Again this year I am actively looking for the mole again.

Over the past two seasons, I have both managed to expose the mole halfway through the season. So I have a reputation to uphold.

This year there were few acquaintances in front of me. This makes it a lot more difficult and therefore a bigger challenge to me.

I will list the candidates here as to whether or not they can be the mole in my opinion.

The first one that actually fell off for me was splinter chabot. I don't think he's the mole. In the first episode, I found his response to the execution very sincere. Splinter is not an actor. If you look at his body language, mimicry and especially eyes when he sees his green screen, I can hardly imagine that this has been played. But never say never! After all, nothing is what it seems, but for now it's on my “not” list.

Erik the black is still on the not list for me. I also feel like he's not going to be so good at the game. He feels a little too slow for me at picking up the subtleties that the mole probably uses to make things go in a hundred. So I also expect him to be out soon. If he's still in there in three episodes, he's more likely to be the mole, so I'm going to review it again.

I still find Florentein quite difficult to gauge. He kept himself free in the background in the first episode. So this can still go in all directions. I'm not ruling him out as a mole, but he's certainly not my prime suspect either.

I don't really see Joshua nolet as a mole. I found him very fanatical about the assignments and I think that as a mole you would have gone for the exemption in laser gaming or at least would not say 'unite' as a mole. Then you'd rather wait and see in the hope that the rest would take each other out immediately. Nor do I think that the mole would give money out of his hands as he gave money to Marije to divide the loot and thus have a better chance of getting something in.

Lakshmi is, above all, someone who intrigues me. Is she the mole? It could be. But it could just be that she's out of there soon. You often see that candidates who are a lot of suspicious go out quickly. We shall see.

I don't think of Charlotte as a mole myself. I see her above all as someone who really wants others to see her as a mole, so she can finally figure out who it really is. So I expect her to be in there for a while.

Rocky is someone to me that I would think of as the mole. I think she has a cool and strong character. As a programmer, I'd pick someone like that as a mole. So she's definitely on my list.

Then I come to my top 2

Renee and Marije. Both ladies did not initially choose the joker. I don't think you would do this as a mole either. You want to make the rest feel like the mole is in charge. And you're not gonna play yourself. So I think the mole is in the group that eventually got the joker. I also found Marije and Renee quite suspicious in laser gaming. Renee because she let herself get fired with money, and Marije precisely because she made it to the finish line but didn't take any money herself (except for the 100 euros of joshua). Marije was also the one who made bundles of all the answers they encountered on the bike. When you hear a lot of the same questions in a row (they wanted, they didn't, they did) it becomes less clear. I found this a little suspicious, too.
