What precedes Pentecost

Pentecost is the last great Christian feast, after the festivities mentioned below. At Christmas it is celebrated that Jesus Christ came to earth as a human being. With Easter we celebrate that Jesus Christ has risen from the dead and lives in a glorified body. On Ascension we then celebrate that He has left the earth and ascended to heaven on a cloud.

Er zijn nog maar weinig mensen die de betkenis van Pinksteren weten. Goed van je om dit uit te leggen. Veel meer mensen weten wat de ramadan en het suikerfeest inhouden. Ook dat respecteer ik hoor, maar ik denk dan ook, respecteer onze Christelijke feesten... Show more

Mooi dat je een heldere uitleg geeft van Pinksteren; ik heb de indruk dat de meerderheid van de inwoners van NL geen flauw idee heeft van de betekenis van de Christelijke feest- en gedenkdagen.
