There are some things you may do if you can't send email through the Mail app on your iPod, iPad, and iPhone touch.

There are several things to keep in mind and double-check before you start:

• When you back up your iOS or iPadOS device in iTunes or iCloud, your mail settings are backed up but not your email. Previously downloaded emails may be erased from your device if you delete or modify your email account settings.
• Check to see if your computer or gadget is hooked up to the internet.
• Check with the email service provider to see if there's a problem with their service.
• Find out what to do if you can't access the email or can't send or receive messages with the email address.

Unsent emails should be checked in the Outbox.

If you receive a notice stating that your email was not sent, it will be sent to your Outbox. Check your Inbox and try to send the email again using the following steps:

1. Go to your mailboxes list in Mail.
2. Select Outbox. Your email was sent if you don't see an Outbox.
3. Select an email from the Outbox. Ensure the email address of the recipient is correct.
4. Press the Send button.

Make sure the email address & password are correct.

If Mail prompts you to enter the password for the email account, double-check that it's correct. Sign in to the email provider's website to verify the email address and password.
Contact the email provider or even the system administrator if you continue to receive a password or user name error.

2. Check with your system administrator or email provider to see whether you enabled any security measures or limits for your email account, like two-step verification. To send and receive email on your device, you may need a special password or request authorization from the email provider.
3. Verify that your email account settings are right with your system administrator or email provider.

Remove the email account and re-enter your information.

1. Log in to your email provider's website on your computer. Check to see if all of the emails are there, or if they are saved elsewhere other than your iOS or even the iPadOS device.
2. Go to Settings, then Mail, then press Accounts on your device.
3. Select the email account you intend to delete.
4. Select Delete Account from the drop-down menu.
5. Re-enter your account information.


If none of the suggested options worked and you still can't send emails using the Mail app on the iPhone 11, you can contact Apple Support or the email service provider for assistance. For the email account and/or Mail app to function properly, some advanced settings may need to be adjusted or configured. Other dependable email platforms, such as Spark, Gmail, Outlook, Spike, and other non-Apple email apps, should be regarded as a last resort if none of the above techniques are able to resolve the problem with your iPhone's Mail app.
