Why Climate Change Is Bad?

Global climate change has already had negative consequences for the environment. Glaciers have receded, river and lake ice has broken up earlier, plant and animal ranges have changed, and trees have started to bud earlier. Loss of sea ice increased sea level rise, and longer, more intense heat waves are all effects that experts anticipated due to global climate change in the past. So why change is bad?

Effects Of Climate Change?

•    This century and beyond will mark by change

Global climate change over this century and beyond. Beyond the next few decades, the extent of climate change will determine by the amount of heat-trapping gases generated globally and the Earth's climate's sensitivity to those emissions.

•    Temperatures will rise even further

The rise in the temperature has not been. It will not be uniform or smooth across the country or over time since human-induced warming is superimposed atop a naturally changing climate.

•    Hurricanes will become more powerful and intense in the future

Since the early 1980s, North Atlantic storms' intensity, frequency, and duration have all grown; it has the frequency of the strongest hurricanes.

It's still unclear how much human and natural factors contributed to these increases. As the climate warms, hurricane-related storms and rainfall rates expect to rise.

•    By 2100, the sea level will rise 1 to 8 feet

Since 1880, when reliable records began, the global sea level has risen by around 8 inches. By 2100, it expects to have grown another one to four feet. The addition of water from melting land ice and the expansion of saltwater as it warms is the cause of this.

•    Droughts and heatwaves are becoming increasingly regular

Droughts in the Southwest and heat waves (periods of extreme heat lasting days to weeks) were likely to exacerbate the situation, while it anticipated cold waves to fade. Summer temperatures are likely to rise even more, with a drop in moisture in the soil, which exacerbates heat waves, forecast for much of the western and central US. What were once-in-a-decade extreme heat days (one-day events) across much of the country predicted to occur each 2 – 3 years by the turn of the era.

Conclusion:

Because of human-caused greenhouse gas emissions, scientists are sure that global temperatures will continue to rise for decades. Over 1,300 specialists from the United States and other nations make up the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which predicts a global temperature of 2.5 to 10 degrees F over the next century. Why is climate change bad? The magnitude of climate change impacts on individual regions will vary over time and with the ability of diverse societal and environmental systems to mitigate or adapt to change.
