Why I Switched to VSCO (And So Should You)
Why I Switched to VSCO (And So Should You)
Hello, dear friends!
Today I decided to write this quick post to tell you about an alternative for Instagram that seems to be overlooked.
The app is called VSCO and right now is what Instagram used to be - a safe space to share photography without being pressured to appear or behave a certain way.
VSCO was, and still appears to be, a popular choice for influencers to edit and share their photos. What makes VSCO different from Instagram isn’t just the lack of stories and video reels. On VSCO, one can edit photos with multiple filters, making them look more professional. While Instagram also has filters, they’re not as aesthetically pleasing as the ones on VSCO.
Over the years, Instagram has drastically changed. Today, it is a shell of what it used to be. It has turned into a mix of Snapchat and YouTube, with the possibility of posting photos. These days, Instagram is mostly utilized for promoting businesses and posting political hot takes. In the 2020s, as I am writing this post, there seems to be no place to share aesthetically pleasing photos.
