The majority of common internet connection issues may be resolved in a few simple steps, and sometimes it's as simple as going from one area to the next. Before we go into more advanced troubleshooting, be sure you've tried these first.
• Get closer to the router. The first thing you may do is get closer to the router. The signal strength of the Wi-Fi may not be powerful enough for the iPad to connect to Wi-Fi if you are too far away.
• Check to see if the Wi-Fi network is up and working. Before you spend too much time trying to troubleshoot why your iPad isn't working, double-check that the issue is with the device. Connect to the Internet with your laptop, desktop, or smartphone to ensure the router is operational. Although connecting wirelessly is recommended for testing Wi-Fi, if you do not have another wireless device, utilizing your desktop will suffice.
• Take off any protective cases or covers from the iPad. It's an excellent idea to remove your case when performing these troubleshooting procedures. This is unlikely to solve the problem because any obstacle could lead the signal to weaken.
• Double-check the password. It's a good idea to double-check that you're typing in the correct password if you're being invited to join the network and continually getting refused. It's simple to mix up a "0" for an "O" in some passwords because they're long and convoluted.
If none of these methods resolve the issue, proceed to the (slightly) more difficult steps below.
Troubleshooting Network Settings on Your iPad
It's time to verify some of the fundamental network settings, but first, make sure the problem isn't caused by a public network.
1. If you connect to a public Wi-Fi hotspot, such as one at a coffee shop or cafe, you may be required to agree to the terms before using apps that rely on the network connection. If you try to open a page in the Safari browser, these networks will usually redirect you to a particular page where you may verify the contract. You may not have accessibility to all of your apps even after you sign the contract and connect to the Internet.
2. If you're linking to your home network, check that everything is set up correctly in the iPad Settings. When you tap the Settings icon on the iPad, the first setting you should look at is Airplane Mode, which is located at the top of the screen. This should be disabled. You won't be able to access the Internet if Airplane Mode is on.
3. Then, just underneath Airplane Mode, click on Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi settings will be displayed as a result of this. There are a few things to keep an eye on:
The Wi-Fi mode is activated. You will not connect to your Wi-Fi network if Wi-Fi is turned off.
4. The "Ask to Join Networks" feature is enabled. It's possible that Ask to Join Networks is turned off if you're not being requested to join the network. Turning this setting on is the simplest solution, but you may also manually enter the information by selecting Other from the list of networks.
5. Do you intend to join a hidden or closed network? Many Wi-Fi networks are either private or public by default. However, a Wi-Fi network could be closed or hidden, which means the name of the network will not be broadcast to your iPad. By selecting Other from the network list, you can join a hidden or closed network. To join, you'll need the network's password and name.
Other solutions
The Wi-Fi connection on the iPad should be reset.
iPad should be reset.
Start the Router again.
Forget about the Network
