Wind chimes by Doodle Clay
Doodle Clay is a fine, supple clay that you can process very easily. It remains soft and does not dry out until you bake it in the (kitchen) oven. The baking takes only 20-30 minutes, at 130 degrees. Then it is nicely hard, without cracks, shrinkage, and loss of quality. It's really not “ordinary” clay, you know! With this clay you can easily make beautiful details, the clay is really nice smooth, does not stick and tear.

Put your workpiece away and continue later, it remains soft and supple without covering or anything like that. Doodle Clay is available in 3 colors: Off White (used here for the wind chimes), Graphite (dark grey) and Sand. You must have had this in your hands once, then you never want another clay again!

You made a wind chimes easy. Make one larger shape (e.g. a cloud) and make a number of holes in it. In retrospect my cloud could have widened a bit and there could have been several holes in it. It is also more convenient if you make two holes in the separate parts, so you can hang several on one line. Still, this wind chimes got pretty funny, I think. It stimulates me, to make several, which then becomes a little more fun of course. Moreover, this clay is really very much to work with.

Go kill with Doodle Clay too! Make a wind chimes with Doodle Clay and enjoy your own made wind chimes in the garden or on the veranda. In the giftset there is also a very nice toolset, including handy print!
