This wind chimes are super fun to hang in your veranda, in the conservatory or in the garden. It's not a quick craft tip and it's not very easy either, but when it's finished, you have a really dazzling and beautiful piece of art hanging out! The fish of clay move cheerfully and of course the wind chimes also make a nice sound, because the fish and beads tick against the tubes.

The fish are made with Creall Doodle Clay Graphite (dark gray), which is a supple clay for adults. It always stays soft, never dries out, so you can work on your workpiece for hours and adjust it again until you like it. It only gets hard when you bake it in the kitchen oven at 130 degrees and the clay is then paintable.

Method:

  • Roll on parchment clay evenly flat with a clay roller
  • Make 3 fish from Doodle Clay , as shown in the pictures
  • Cut the fish into 6 pieces and pierce holes in the middle of each piece
  • With various stamps you print patterns in the soft clay
  • Bake the fish in the oven and color them with Creall Oily (oil squares)
  • Lacquer them with a glossy varnish (lacquer)
  • Paint 18 wooden beads with 6 different colors Creall acrylic paint
  • Thread the painted beads with fish thread between the fish parts so that it becomes a whole fish again
