What are the consequences for a woman in the men's world
When designers and researchers talk about people, they still mean men too often. That often has life-threatening consequences for women.
Too few toilets, too cold in the office, too large smartphones and too wide piano keys to the wrong drugs: we live in a man's world; designed by men, for men.

In March 2019, NASA had to cancel its first all-female spacewalk ever last minute. The astronauts Anne McClain and Christina Koch couldn't both go into space, as only one suit was available that was suitable for women's bodies. And so, unfortunately McClain was not allowed to go.

British journalist Caroline Criado Perez has devoted three years of research to it, which led to her book Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias In A World Designed For Men.

Researchers generally base designs on the physical characteristics of a white man aged between 25 and 30 years, weighing around 70 kilos. These standard standards are male because our daily utensils are also mainly designed by men. And it looks like this lack will only increase under the influence of modern technology, since these types of flaws are taken over by algorithms
