Wooden Easter Pendants
When Easter comes into view, it's fun and cozy to make Easter pendants together. Chickens, harvests and eggs are fun shapes to hang in the Easter branches. We have decorated blank wooden pendants by Trixx Creatively.
This time we did not paint, but we have decorated the wooden moulds with a fire device. That's a kind of soldering iron, with a very hot tip, where you can draw in wood. Fire painting is also called, or pyrography.
Burning in wood is very easy with such a wood burner. Keep careful, because you can still burn at the hot tip. Of course, it is not recommended for children, but larger children (from 11/12 years old, if they are just calm) can do this just fine! However, there must be an adult, to pay close attention, of course.

And this is the result. The edges are burned, and the colors are simply colored with colored pencil after burning. Of course, colors can also be done with marker or chalk.
