I wanted to create this blog for a while now because I find it interesting to share. Meanwhile I have been working for this YouTuber for more than a Month. And that's why I want to share with you both the pros and cons. Before I do that, I'm going to explain something to you about this channel (the channel remains anonymous for the rest). This channel is a gaming channel with over 1 Million subscribers. Every day a video is uploaded and every other day (so every 2 days) I have to edit a video. So it's definitely a Full-Time job!

Benefits

There are many advantages to having such a job. Especially in the time when there is a lot of uncertainty and you have to work a lot from home. You already work this job from home anyway. And people keep watching these videos anyway!

I can organize my own hours. So sometimes I work in the morning, sometimes in the evening and sometimes when I don't divide my work over those 2 days I work a whole day from morning to afternoon. 😂

I work with a well-known YouTuber. My dream is to make my work from the content I create. As far as I always thought it would be through YouTube. Meanwhile, there are many different ways to achieve this (but that's for later). Only the work I'm doing now is as close as I've been. I edit these complete videos and get paid for them.

To avoid burning out from too much screen time, though, it's important to find a hobby that has nothing to do with the computer, ideally something that will get your body moving while having fun at the same time 😁 Being a freelancer myself, I fully agree that it has both advantages and disadvantages (like anything in life). For me, so far the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. It's definitely a good thing being able to set my own schedule and to continue to work from home during this time when so many people are struggling because their jobs are no longer possible due to the confinement measures. @Adriana Thanks a lot Adriana, loved to read this comment! I do walk outside every other day now, a little walk in the nature clears my head. And I started crafting with cardboard!
But there is kind of a loop hole... I still make a video out of that haha

There's much more time and work in it than we think. Great that you have an income, but you must indeed make sure it is ready, sick, problems with your PC and other things will do little to your client.
