Recently I made a blog about bird shelter in Ostend.
After further contact with the chairman of the board, I was sent some unique photos, which I can publish here.

This ranged owl ended up at the center as a nest young. He then weighed 256 g. The animal could not fly and therefore could not hunt.

The team taught the bird of prey to fly, eat, then hunt for dead food and finally live prey.

After 4 months, the young ranged owl was ready to be released again. Without their intervention, this little creature was doomed.

At the end of December 2017, a tower crane collapsed in Nieuwpoort due to heavy gusts of wind.

This peregrine falcon, which reaches speeds of 370 km per hour in an attack and is therefore the fastest flying animal in the world, was rescued from under the crane.

The wing was operated.
