What started as the Yoors Flower 10-day goes on as the Flower Parade.
Just because there are too many beautiful flowers, and every human being is happy with flowers.

For today's contribution, I traveled to the east of the country: to my parents.
My father had a gardener's business, and part of the nursery is now garden.
You understand: an infinite supply of flowers to photograph throughout the year.

I walked through the garden with my father, so I could photograph and ask him all the plant names.
Today the Eucomis, or pineapple plant as we call it.
Wikipedia also calls him the Tintin Lily.
We call it pineapple plant because the flowers look like a pineapple.

The Eucomis is a bulbous crop, with my parents it is in a pot, so it can hibernate well.
The bulbs are not hardy.
The plant blooms from July to September, with many small flowers that together form a “pineapple”.
Beautiful to the plant are also the spotted stems on which the flowers grow. #flowerparade #Eucomis #kuiflelie #ananasplant #macrofotografie #nofilter
