Today in the flower parade a flower that you probably know, but then looks different from the picture below.
I'm talking about the Knightspur.
You probably know him as a long stalk with many round flowers around. That's the perennial Knight's spur.

In the photo below you can see the annual Knight's Track.
This plant does very well on sandy soil, sowing itself, blooming abundantly.
On clay soil, the plant is not happy, with us in the garden it does not do it.

I plundered my in-law's garden last year to dry some flowers for my encaustic work.
The plan is to do that again this year, because I really like the flowers!
