Yoors Flower Parade, day 26

The holiday is over in parts of the country, high time to continue with the Flower Parade!
Starting today, I'm going to try to put a flower in the digital sunshine every day.

Today in the sun: the Lythrum Salicaria, better known as the big Cat Tail.
This solid plant does it in almost every garden, and can withstand wet soil very well.
With us he stands in the clay, and since we gave him a spot in full sun he blooms very thankfully.

With its beautiful purple-pink torches with many small flowers it is an eye-catcher in the garden.
The large Loosestrife is one of the few plants that has passed the past heat wave without any problems.
The flowering period of this plant is June to September.
