Yoors Flower Parade, day 3

Today I'm taking you to Kenya.
Two years ago I was there for the last time, and we enjoyed it!
Half of our trip we had a rest day, a day when we just stayed in the garden near our lodge, with a book, and of course the camera.

The lodge turned out to be a rose grower from the Netherlands, who came from our neighborhood.
They live in the village next to ours, what the world is suddenly small...
During this rest day we got a tour of the terrain, beautiful!
On the lawn where we were reading they walked zebras free, there came some giraffes watching, and in the night a hippopotamus walked at the door of our room!

During the tour I spotted among others this Bougainvillea, a plant that you encounter in many warm countries.
In these countries they are often huge shrubs, here as a pot plant they often remain small ones...
