Yoors Flower Parade, day 50
Today in the Flowerparade: the wild rose.
Wild Roses, also called bottling roses, occur naturally in the wild.
They bloom once a year, exuberant, and then form rose hips.
The roses often have a bushy appearance, look literally wild.
The nice thing about these roses is that you hardly need to prune them or not.
Let them go their way, and enjoy the bottles.
From the rose hips you can make jam፦)
I photographed these roses in front of my house, just in the municipal plantation.
I keep looking at it when I walk out the door.
The bees, hoverflies and other insects love it, and every now and then a baby comes to smell the roses.

nou echt hoor ik kijken maar zie echt meer dan 5 bloemblaadjes.....helaas heb ik geen geurlaptop. Maar die bottels hebben ook wel wat die ken ik niet.

Schaamrood op de kaken hier. Nooit tot me doorgedrongen dat de bottels van rozen zijn... Het woord werd me ooit geleerd om uit te spreken als Ròzebottel. Als in de kleur ròze... 🙈
